Idgie Says:This hearty sized book is the 8th in a line of Tony Hill crime mysteries and they aren't losing steam yet. Serial killer books make me queasy and in all honesty I prefer not to read them - and this one didn't change that fact. The chapters involving the actual killer gave me the complete "heebes"..... but that's also the sign of good writing.
On the other hand, the characters themselves were full and alive so even if you don't enjoy the frightening chapters, you stick with the book to find out what happens to them and their lives.
That's good writing.
