This is a frightening story as it is told from a little girl dealing with the scary actions of an older sister whose behavior veers between mental distress, extreme anger.......or possible demonic possession? To this small child, all she knows is that her house is suddenly a scary place to be.
The book uses narrative writing and also blog entries, mixing up the storytelling process with
2 different styles of writing and speaking.
I will say that the ending is completely shocking - I just sat there with my mouth hanging open staring at the final pages. Are answers provided at the end... not really, but by then they aren't needed anymore.
