This is a sweet romance that starts off with an event that would have everyone yelling at you should a female actually act in this foolish manner. But she follows her gut feeling and being a HEA book, all is well.
The characters are all likeable and lively and the story moves along at a quick pace. The interaction between the brothers and Burr are amusing as they attempt to "out man" each other.
I will say that having a man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder play hockey less than a week later was hard to swallow, but this is fiction, so we just move along.
Katy writes two types of novels - some are very dark and angsty and some are the more light-hearted, easy reads. This definitely falls into the second catagory.
