What?!? Gross! Not interested! This is what I first thought when the ebook hit my Kindle app. But....I had promised to look the book over so... I will say that I'm glad I didn't know the name of the book first as that might have swayed me in the wrong direction.
Color me surprised - it's true that these stories are about people eating people but I found that to be more of a subtext to several of the stories. Some of these stories would be called horror, some fantasy and the rest fictional stories of people just surviving in the world. It's a definite mix of different genres and the writing on most of them was very well done and kept you interested the entire time.
A quick read, great for an ebook type setting.
